A: If your current hosting provider can no longer match the demands of your web site, or when you go through frequent downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the customer support staff to reply back to you, it might be a good idea to change your hosting provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your websites as well as your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At Inspira Hosting, we realize that this can be difficult and time–consuming. This is the reason why we’ll do all that for you at no cost!Our highly trained technical staff will transfer your web site content from your current web hosting provider to us. Our technicians have got extensive experience migrating websites and are able to handle everything – from a common WordPress–powered blog or Joomla^™ CMS–driven site, to an extremely complex, custom–built application.

A: There are many factors to think about – the total amount of files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the current workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. Having said that, we do try to implement all website migrations within a 48–hour time frame. Smaller websites are transferred faster – usually within 24 hours.

A: We do not gather any personal info. We will require, though, the login info for your current hosting account and the name of the site that you’d like to transfer.

A: Customer privacy is truly one of our fundamental concerns – that is why, both our payment transaction page and our CP login page are secured with enterprise–grade digital certificates. We employ security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and administrative operations to protect the details that we assemble online. And we’ve also got a very detailed and rigorous Privacy Policy, which outlines the types of information that we gather.

A: Your web site will continue to work just like it did before with your previous web hosting provider. As soon as we have finished the migration, your site will be configured to work on our hosting platform and we’ll ask you to preview it. If it is working correctly, all you will need to do is edit the NS resource records for your domain. Your website will be migrated to us without any downtime.

A: While we migrate your website content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will not contact them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–powered web hosting platforms. Generally, if we can get access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source website creation platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
